Today is the official pub date for Nanny on the Run! It’s been an interesting journey to date, and I look forward to the next chapter beginning May 3rd, 5:00 p.m. at Fact and Fiction Downtown for the Book Launch Party.
For those of you who prefer your e-reader to a print copy, the Kindle conversion is underway!
When I opened my first Yogi® tea packet, I didn’t know that along with a great tasting cup of tea, I’d be treated to words of wisdom. Every tea bag has an inspiration attached. I don’t remember what my first one said, nor do I remember when I started saving those little pieces of paper and their thought-provoking words.
At first, I’d tear off random sayings and set them beside my keyboard. Then, I began to put a few on the kitchen table, resting them against the base of a planter. But sometimes they’d slide under the keyboard, or I’d roll them up in the center place mat when I had to make room on the table. And I didn’t want to lose them.
So now I keep them in a china dish my mother gave to me. In the living room, where the messages can be shared.
When I began to write this, I learned there is another way Yogi® inspirations can be shared. Through its web site, you can send a well-wish. The recipient receives an e-card with your message and, after he/she sends an address, your friend or family member will receive two tea bags. Sweet.
